Kentwood Springs is a company that has been delivering water in bottles since 1963. It was started in Kentwood, LA. Their delivery service is available to both homes and businesses in the Gulf states, which include Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida. Through their sister company, Primo Water, Kentwood Springs rents out water containers for use at home or in a business. Both are owned by DS Services, which is the parent business. Kentwood Springs encourages environmental and social responsibility through recycling, water management, in-kind donations, and helping communities in times of disaster.
The time between deliveries is every two weeks. There are 3-gallon and 5-gallon water bottles that can be used with renting dispensers. The customer can choose between spring water, boiled water, fluoridated water, and water made by hand. Kentwood Springs will also bring sparkling waters from well-known brands, cases of bottled water, tea, coffee, and chocolate. They also offer a cleaning service for the water dispensers that costs $59.99 and is added to the monthly bill.
Customers sign up for the service by putting a credit or debit card on auto-pay. The parent company, DS Services, puts a $50.00 permission hold on the card and may check the customer’s credit. On the company’s website or by calling 866-407-7873, you can set up a new account. Once the account is set up, a service person will come out to set up the dispenser, go over how it works, and talk about where the empty bottles should be left so they can be picked up. At the first service call, someone over the age of 18 must be there.
Prices depend on what kind of water a customer wants, what kind of dispenser they want, and what other goods they want to add. They also have a program called “Refer a Friend” that gives both the current customer and the new customer a $25 credit.
